FAQs

What is powder coating?

Powder Coating is a process were a dry powder consisting of a solvent free dry mix of plastic resins, pigment and fillers are sprayed onto the surface of an item. The powder is electrostatically charged so that it holds to the item. The item is then placed in an oven and heated which causes a chemical reaction so that the powder melts and fuses together to create a smooth and highly durable finish.

What can you powder coat?

We can powder coat almost anything - any shape and any size - no matter how intricate. Call or email us today to discuss your requirements further.

Why should I use you?

All of our powder coating is done by hand, so we have the ability and skill to individually check the entire surface area of anything we're coating to ensure an even finish, with no spots missed. Hand powder coating is a better option for small and intricate or detailed items due to the higher attention to detail - an automatic machine could just skip over small indents and crevices and with potentially less quality checking for each item, spots can be missed.
